Sylvia Armstrong Emerging Series, ‘Tropicana’
The use of strong vibrant colors was used on this work to attract attention to the mosaic. The addition of fiber and natural leaves adds to the abstract impression of a tropical interlude. The viewer should experience a reflection on their own images and memories of their tropical experience.
